<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The pluralism of historical narratives in Indonesian historiography presents its own challenges for teachers, whether to convey the official or competing versions. This article aims to discuss PRRI as a case of historical narrative pluralism in Indonesia. The three main questions to be answered are: 1) what is the history of PRRI according to the official narrative; 2) what is the rival narrative version of PRRI's history; and 3) what are the implications for history learning in schools. From the research carried out, it is explained that in the official narrative, PPRI is referred to as a form of disobedience, resistance and betrayal of the region (especially West Sumatra) to the central government. On the other hand, in several counter narratives, PRRI is said to be a form of correction from the regions to the central government which is considered unfair in carrying out development so that there is no intention to break away from the Republic of Indonesia. The existence of this kind of pluralism of historical narratives has implications for history learning in schools, where teachers must strictly adhere to the principles of neutrality and objectivity. Teachers must convey information in a balanced and data-based manner. Apart from that, to raise students' historical awareness, teachers can also ask emancipatory questions.</dc:description>

<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The quality of lecturer research is one of the important indicators in assessing the quality of higher education. In the current era of information and technology, digital libraries are often the main tool for lecturers in accessing the literature needed for research. However, there is less than optimal utilization, which can affect lecturer research. So this journal research is to analyze various factors that affect the quality of lecturer research through the use of digital libraries. The method used by researchers is a literature study, namely collecting and analyzing related literature such as articles, journals, books, and other academic documents if needed. This study concludes that factors that affect the quality of lecturer research with the use of digital libraries such as information literacy skills, access to technology, institutional policies, and support from librarians also play a very important role in maximizing the potential of digital libraries in improving the quality of lecturer research. The results are divided into two factors, namely the convenience factor where conditions make it easier for researchers to find, manage, and utilize available information and technology and the obstacle factor where the individual conditions of lecturers in the research process. For good quality, there is comprehensive training on the use of digital libraries. Lecturers who are well trained in utilizing digital libraries can produce scientific works that are of higher quality and relevant to current developments in the academic field.</dc:description>

<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study aims to see the effect of the application of the Inquiry learning model on the achievement of learning Indonesian language of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Bengkulu City. This study is classified as a quasi-experimental study. Data were collected using tests and analyzed using the T-test with the SPSS program which includes normality tests, homogeneity and hypothesis tests. From the results of the post-test conducted, it was found that the average of the experimental class increased from 57.4 to 83.20 while the control class increased from 58.8 to 72.60. From these results it can be concluded that the average of the experimental class experienced a higher increase compared to the control class. In addition, statistical tests were also carried out using SPSS series 27 to see whether the hypothesis was rejected or accepted. From the results of the tests carried out, it is known that for the T-test, the t-hit value (4,520) was obtained with a significance level of (0.000). Thus, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and HI is accepted, namely because 0.000 is smaller than 0.025. This means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of learning outcomes.</dc:description>

<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This study examined the knowledge, Acceptability, and utilization of convenience foods among working mothers in higher institutions in Anambra State, Nigeria. The study was conducted in public universities in Anambra State, Nigeria, using a descriptive survey and ex-post facto design. The population comprised 3,689 working mothers across six government-owned higher institutions, with a sample of 361 selected using multi-stage sampling. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection, validated by experts, and tested for reliability using Cronbach Alpha, which ranged from 0.57 to 0.88. Data were collected face-to-face with assistance from trained research aides. Analysis involved percentages, means, standard deviations, t-tests, with decisions based on a 2.50 mean benchmark and a 0.05 significance level. Out of the 361 respondents, most were married (280), non-teaching staff (239), and aged 36–40 years (81). A majority fell within the middle-income bracket (167). Findings revealed a generally high level of knowledge and utilization of convenience foods, although awareness of health risks was low. The study revealed that working mothers in higher institutions in Anambra State had a high extent of knowledge of convenience foods, except on health implications (mean = 2.46). Twenty-four convenience foods were widely available, except Ofada rice bundle (2.43) and small chop mix (2.41). Significant differences existed in knowledge between teaching and non-teaching mothers (t = 2.226) and in Acceptability of convenience foods between working and non-working mothers (t = 2.092). The study underscores the need for targeted nutritional education to improve informed food choices.</dc:description>

<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Background: This study investigates the impact of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) instructional strategy on secondary school students' academic retention in Chemistry, specifically covering topics such as acids, bases, and acid-base reactions. Objective: This study compares the retention scores of students taught using TPS and those taught using the traditional lecture method. Additionally, the study sought to determine whether there was any significant difference in the retention scores between male and female students taught with TPS. Method: A quasi-experimental design was used in this study, involving 192 senior secondary one (SS1) Chemistry students from a population of 5,714 in Anambra State. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were employed to select the sample. The Chemistry Retention Test (CRT), validated by experts with a reliability coefficient of 0.81 (using Kuder-Richardson Formula 20), was used for data collection. The data were analysed using mean, standard deviation, and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) to answer the research questions and test the hypotheses. Result: The findings revealed a significant difference in the mean academic retention scores between students taught Chemistry using the TPS strategy and those taught using the lecture method, with TPS proving more effective. Conclusion: The Think-Pair-Share instructional strategy significantly enhances the academic retention of Chemistry students compared to the traditional lecture method. Furthermore, TPS was shown to benefit both male and female students equally in terms of retention. Contribution: This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by empirically proving that the Think-Pair-Share strategy improves students' academic retention in Chemistry, surpassing the effectiveness of the traditional lecture method.</dc:description>

<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Background: This study examined the effect of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning strategy on secondary school students’ achievement in computer studies in Anambra State. The strategy was considered against the traditional lecture method to explore its potential in fostering meaningful learning. Objective: The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of TPS in enhancing students’ achievement in computer studies and to establish whether gender differences exist in students’ performance when taught using this approach. The study focused on Junior Secondary School Two (JSS2) students in Aguata and Awka education zones of Anambra State. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental pre-test post-test non-equivalent group design with 393 JSS2 students. Data were collected using a validated CSAT (KR-20 = 0.70). Mean and standard deviation answered research questions, and ANCOVA tested hypotheses at the 0.05 level.. Result: Findings revealed that students taught computer studies with TPS achieved significantly higher results than those taught using the lecture method. In addition, male students taught with TPS performed better than their female counterparts. Conclusions: The study concluded that the TPS learning strategy effectively promotes meaningful learning in computer studies in secondary schools. Contribution: The study proves that TPS is a viable student-centred strategy capable of enhancing achievement in computer studies. It recommends that curriculum planners encourage teachers to adopt TPS more frequently and that educators shift from lecture-dominated instruction to interactive approaches that prioritise students’ active participation.</dc:description>
