Pendekatan Antropologi sebagai Sarana Moderasi Beragama di UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid: Studi Kasus pada Mahasiswa beda Agama di Kampus

The focus of this article discusses the application of religious moderation (tolerance) in students of UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of anthropology in addressing religious moderation in the campus environment and the importance of having an attitude of religious moderation towards the whole community, especially those of different religions. The research method uses a qualitative study. This research was conducted at UIN K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid in 2024.Data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) conclusion drawing. The research conclusion reveals that the implementation of the role of religious moderation is very good as a strategy for maintaining interfaith students and also the creation of peaceful, tolerant, and respectful behavior of each other's religions on campus. The implications of the research result as a source of scientific information in the field of religious studies, especially the urgency of the anthropological approach as a means of religious moderation in students of different religions on campus.
