Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of university students in moderating religious knowledge in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from various written sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and relevant online sources. Data analysis was conducted using the content analysis method, including data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students have a strategic role in moderating religious knowledge in the digital era through several ways, such as utilizing social media to disseminate positive content and religious education, forming online communities for interfaith discussion and dialogue, and collaborating with religious leaders and academics in campaigning for religious moderation. This research contributes to the understanding of the role of the younger generation in maintaining religious harmony in the digital era.
