Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK).The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 68 Bengkulu Selatan.The data collection techniques used in this study were (1) conducting initial tests (2) participant observation method because the teacher as a researcher while observing and being observed directly by collaborators who also observed the activeness of teachers and students during the learning process.(3) the test method is used to determine student learning outcomes after working on questions given at the end of learning in each cycle. The data in this study are divided into two types, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data was obtained to find the class average score and percentage. While qualitative data was analyzed using data analysis techniques consisting of data exposure, reduction (existing data is checked and recorded again), categorization (data is sorted), interpretation and conclusion. The research was conducted in three stages. The first stage is pre-cycle with the results of the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) value of 70 The second stage is cycle 1. with the Demonstration method Based on these data with the application of the Demonstration method and Audio Visual Media, cycles I, II and III it can be seen that there is an increase in learning outcomes after the application of the Demonstration method.
