Efektivitas Model Think-Pair-Share Dalam Memahami Kisah Nabi Siswa Kelas 2 SD Negeri 71 Kaur

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model in improving the understanding of 2nd grade students of SDN 71 Kaur towards the story of the prophet and the messenger. This study uses the classroom action research method (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through comprehension tests, observations, and interviews, which were analyzed in a quantitative and qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study show that the application of the TPS model is able to significantly improve student understanding. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 68 with classical completeness of 40%. After cycle I, the average score increased to 75 with classical completeness of 68%. In cycle II, the average score reached 82 with classical completeness of 88%. In addition, the TPS model also increases students' activeness in learning, both in independent thinking, discussing with partners, and being These results show that the TPS model is effectively used to improve students' understanding of the stories of the prophets and apostles. Thus, the TPS model can be used as an alternative interactive learning method, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects at the elementary school level
