Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dalam meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Materi Akhlak Mulia di SDN 71 Kaur

This research aims to increase the understanding of grade V students of noble moral material in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Ethics subjects through the implementation of a Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in three stages, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. The subject of the study was 32 students in class V, with a population of all students in grades I to VI in one of the elementary schools. Data was collected through learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw model significantly improved students' understanding. The average student score increased from 55.2 in the pre-cycle to 68.4 in the 1st cycle, and reached 80.6 in the 2nd cycle. The percentage of completion also increased from 31.25% in pre-cycle to 62.5% in cycle 1, and reached 87.5% in cycle 2. Observations showed that students became more active in group discussions, understood the material better, and were able to explain sub-material to members of the original group. The application of the Jigsaw model not only improves students' understanding of noble moral material but also trains social skills, communication, and individual responsibility in group learning. Therefore, the Jigsaw learning model is recommended to be widely used in PAI and Ethics learning as well as other subjects that require collaboration and in-depth understanding.
