Abstract

Learning outcomes refer to the abilities students possess after participating in the learning process. The success of the learning process can be measured by the achievement of learning outcomes that meet the established Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). These learning outcomes are significantly influenced by the teaching methods employed by the teacher. An effective teaching model can enhance students' motivation, interest, understanding, and encourage them to be more active. However, in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons, several issues arise, such as lack of motivation, distraction, passive behavior, and low mastery of the material. One solution implemented in this research is the use of the cooperative learning model, specifically the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) type. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the application of the STAD cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in PAI. In Cycle I, the completion rate was 55% with an average score of 72, in Cycle II it increased to 75% with an average score of 85, and in Cycle III it reached 85% with an average score of 85. This model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 46 Kaur.
