ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES (APC) AND WAIVER POLICY

A. ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES (APC)
International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy (IJCP) applies article processing charges to authors according to the following transparent fee structure:
Article Submission Fee: IDR 0.00 / USD 0.00 (Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee )
Article Publication Fee: IDR 250,000 /13.90 USD (Article Publication Fee applies)

B. WAIVER POLICY: 
IJCP firmly believes that financial constraints should never prevent the publication of high-quality scientific research. Therefore, we provide a robust Waiver Policy for authors who are required to pay the publication fee (domestic submissions) but face genuine financial hardship.

• Waiver Criteria: Authors who face financial hardship, lack institutional funding, or are undergraduate/graduate students conducting independent research may apply for a partial or full waiver of the publication fee.
• How to Apply: The request for a waiver must be submitted during the initial manuscript submission process. Authors should upload a formal waiver request letter as a supplementary file or submit it via email to the Editor-in-Chief. Each request will be evaluated independently on a case-by-case basis by the Editorial Board.
• Editorial Independence: Crucially, applying for a financial waiver will never influence the editorial decision-making or the peer-review process. The scientific evaluation of the manuscript remains completely separate from any financial matters to ensure absolute fairness.
