ARCHIVING POLICY

The International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy (IJCP) is committed to ensuring the long term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content. As part of its commitment to digital preservation, the publisher, Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA), implements dual archiving schemes to safeguard articles for future generations.

To preserve its publications, IJCP currently utilizes the following trusted digital preservation systems:

1. Internet Archive
All published content is regularly archived in the Internet Archive, ensuring that articles remain accessible even in the event of website changes or downtime. Access: https://archive.org/.

2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PLN)
IJCP participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides a free, decentralized, and secure preservation service for Open Journal Systems (OJS) journals. PKP PLN ensures long term storage and restoration of all preserved articles in case access to the journal's primary site becomes unavailable. Information: https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pln/

3. LOCKSS & CLOCKSS
IJCP utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. Information: https://www.lockss.org/ and https://clockss.org/
