REVENUE SOURCE POLICY
The International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy (IJCP) operates under an open-access model. The journal is financially supported by Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors upon the acceptance of their manuscripts. No advertisements are placed, and no subscription fees are charged to readers. Additional funding is provided by the publisher, Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA). Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by any source of revenue.
As an open-access publisher, which typically requires the upfront payment of APCs, we ensure that articles are made freely available immediately upon publication in IJCP, under an accompanying license. APCs pricing at IJCP is set per journal and is clearly displayed on the journal’s homepage.
APCs pricing at IJCP is reviewed periodically and may be subject to change. We determine APCs based on the following criteria:
- Journal quality;
- Manuscript formatting and layout/editing standards;
- DOI registration for each article;
- Similarity checking for each submission;
- Editorial and technical processing of manuscripts;
- Grammar checking and article proofreading;
- Market conditions;
- Other revenue streams associated with the journal (Publisher).
