Indonesian Journal of Guidance and Counseling Studies (IJGCS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to disseminating state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of guidance and counseling. The journal aims to serve as a platform for scientific publication, promote high-quality research findings, support evidence-based practices, and provide an academic space for researchers, academics, professionals, counselors, guidance and counseling teachers, college students, and practitioners to explore, share, and discuss critical ideas, strategic issues, novelty, implications, and scientific contributions in the field of guidance and counseling through a scientific approach.

EDITORIAL PROCESS: The author must ensure that the manuscript has been prepared using the IJGCS Template and that it fully complies with the Author Guidelines and Editorial Policies. The manuscript must also be carefully proofread and subjected to a similarity check. Both the proofreading certificate and the similarity check result must be uploaded as supplementary files during the submission process. In addition, the author is required to submit a signed Author Statement of Ethics Form, endorsed by all contributing authors. Only manuscripts that meet the IJGCS standards will be considered for further processing. REGISTRATION and LOGIN are required to submit items online and check current submissions' status.

EDITORIAL PROCESS: Indonesian Journal of Guidance and Counseling Studies (IJGCS) employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, quality, and originality. All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal’s scope and ethical policies. Manuscripts are then processed and selected by the journal's editorial team and reviewed by peer reviewers to ensure the quality of the published work. The IJGCS utilizes Open Journal Systems (OJS), a platform that streamlines the editorial workflow by offering tools for submission, peer review, and publication, while also supporting the open-access dissemination of academic content (See the Publishing System and Process).
