Indonesian Journal of Guidance and Counseling Studies (IJGCS) is an open-access scholarly journal established in 2024. The journal publishes Triannually (February, June and October) and is published by Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA). IJGCS is committed to advancing research and scholarly communication in the field of guidance and counseling.

August 6, 2024 Electronic ISSN Assigned IJGCS was assigned its Electronic ISSN (e-ISSN: 3063-038X) by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian ISSN National Center). ISSN Decree Number: 3063038X/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/08/2024
December 24, 2025 Academic Collaboration Established IJGCS established a formal academic collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu to strengthen editorial management, peer-review processes, publication quality, and academic networking.

Since its establishment in 2024, IJGCS has developed progressively as a peer-reviewed academic journal. Beginning with its inaugural publication in June 2024, the journal has expanded its institutional credibility through the acquisition of Print ISSN and Electronic ISSN in June 2024. In 2025, IJGCS further strengthened its academic foundation through formal collaboration with a national higher education research institution, enhancing its editorial and publication standards.
