The International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy (IJCP) is an open-access scholarly journal established in 2024. The journal publishes three issues per year (April, August, and December) and is published by Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA). IJCP is committed to advancing research and scholarly communication in the field of counseling and psychotherapy.

December 18, 2024 Electronic ISSN Assigned IJCP was assigned its Electronic ISSN (e-ISSN: 3064-3465) by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian ISSN National Center). ISSN Decree Number: 30643465/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/12/2024.
December 24, 2025 Academic Collaboration Established IJCP established a formal academic collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu to strengthen editorial management, peer-review processes, publication quality, and academic networking.

Since its establishment in 2024, IJCP has developed progressively as a peer-reviewed academic journal. Beginning with its inaugural publication in August 2024, the journal has expanded its institutional credibility through the acquisition of Print ISSN and Electronic ISSN in December 2024. In 2025, IJCP further strengthened its academic foundation through formal collaboration with a national higher education research institution, enhancing its editorial and publication standards.
