POSTING ARTICLE POLICY

Jurnal Indonesia Pendidikan Profesi Guru (JIPPG) encourages the responsible sharing of scholarly work to promote open scientific dialogue while maintaining the integrity of the peer-review and publishing process. This policy aligns with international best practices for academic publishing and adheres to the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Preprint Policy (Version submitted before peer review)
Authors are permitted to post and share the preprint version of their manuscript (the original version submitted prior to peer review) under the following conditions:

  • May be shared on personal websites, institutional repositories, or recognized preprint servers (e.g., PsyArXiv, Research Square).
  • Must clearly state that the manuscript is a preprint and has not yet undergone peer review.
  • Upon acceptance or publication in JIPPG, authors must update the preprint record with a full bibliographic citation and a direct DOI link to the final published article.

Accepted Manuscript (Postprint - after peer review, before copyediting and typesetting)
Authors may archive the accepted version of the manuscript under these terms:

  • May be deposited in institutional repositories or funder repositories immediately after acceptance without any embargo period (Zero Embargo).
  • Should not be formatted to resemble the journal’s final published layout.

Published Version (Version of Record)
The final published version (Version of Record) is the official PDF typeset and published by JIPPG:

  • As an Open Access journal operating under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license, authors are permitted to share, upload, and distribute the final published PDF on any platform, including commercial repositories, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, institutional repositories, and personal websites.
  • Authors must always provide a full formal citation and include the active DOI link to the official publication on the JIPPG website.

Licensing and Open Access

  • All articles in JIPPG are published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, allowing broad dissemination, sharing, and adaptation, provided appropriate credit is given and derivative works are distributed under the same license.
  • Authors retain full copyright to their work while granting JIPPG the right of first publication.

Citation Requirements
When posting or self-archiving any version of the manuscript (Preprint, Accepted Version, or Version of Record), authors must:

  • Provide a complete bibliographic citation to the published article in JIPPG.
  • Include the official DOI link directing readers to the article on the journal’s website.
  • Explicitly state which version of the paper is being shared.
