Management
In terms of operational execution and quality enhancement, the Indonesian Journal of Character Education Studies (IJCES) is managed through a strategic collaboration between CV. Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA) as the publisher and the Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno (UIN FAS) Bengkulu (see Collaboration Agreement). This collaboration aims to strengthen research traditions in character education, enhance the academic publishing capacity and productivity of the scholarly community, and broaden the dissemination of knowledge and visibility of open-access research findings at both national and international levels.
The collaborative framework and management responsibilities are structured as follows:

  • Editorial Team and Board Oversight: The editorial board and reviewers managing the editorial workflow of IJCES operate independently and professionally. The complete, up to date list of editors and reviewers can be accessed directly at https://ojs.aeducia.org/index.php/ijces/editorialboard.
  • Editorial Independence: IJCES strictly enforces and upholds full editorial independence. The Editorial Board holds absolute authority and autonomy in evaluating, accepting, or rejecting submitted manuscripts. Editorial decisions are based purely on academic quality, originality, research relevance, and independent double-blind peer-review evaluations, free from interference by the publisher, financial considerations, or any commercial/political interests.
  • Editorial Governance & Scholarly Quality: Scientific policy direction, manuscript screening, peer-review management, and substantive quality assurance are overseen independently by the IJCES Editorial Board in partnership with LPPM UIN FAS Bengkulu, in strict compliance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
  • Publishing Infrastructure & Technical Management: AEDUCIA serves as the technical publishing manager responsible for digital platform maintenance (Open Journal Systems / OJS), Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration, manuscript layout and typesetting, metadata indexing, and adherence to publishing best practices and ethical standards outlined by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
  • Institutional Synergy: This institutional partnership aims to strengthen research traditions in character education, enhance academic authorship capacity, and expand the global visibility and impact of scholarly research outputs.
