COPYRIGHT AND LICENSES

1. INTRODUCTION
Indonesian Journal of Innovative Teaching and Learning (IJITL) is firmly committed to the principles of Open Access and the broadest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. This Copyright Notice explains the terms under which articles are published in IJITL, highlighting author copyright retention and the use of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This licensing framework ensures that published works remain freely accessible, shareable, reusable, and adaptable by the global academic community and the public, while maintaining appropriate attribution to the original authors. IJITL supports academic transparency, collaboration, and the advancement of science through responsible knowledge sharing.

2. COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP
Copyright for articles published in IJITL remains with the respective authors. However, by submitting and publishing their work, authors grant IJITL and the publisher, Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA), a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and archive the manuscript in electronic and print formats. IJITL acknowledges authors as the original copyright holders of their scholarly work.

  • Authors who publish their articles in IJITL retain full copyright of their work.
  • IJITL does not require authors to transfer their copyright to the journal or its publisher, Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA). Authors grant IJITL a license for first publication.

3. PUBLISHING LICENSE AND USER RIGHTS
All articles published in Indonesian Journal of Innovative Teaching and Learning (IJITL) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

  • This license allows users, including readers and the general public, to:
    • Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
    • Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Under the following conditions:
    • Attribution (BY): Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the journal as the source of publication. Users must indicate if any changes were made to the material.

Peer reviewers who provide review reports for manuscripts submitted to the Indonesian Journal of Innovative Teaching and Learning (IJITL) retain the copyright of their review content. IJITL upholds the confidentiality of the peer review process under its double-blind review system. Review reports are only shared with authors for the purpose of scholarly improvement and always in an anonymized format. IJITL will not publish, reproduce, or distribute reviewer reports, nor disclose reviewer identities, without the explicit written consent of the respective reviewers.

The views, interpretations, findings, and conclusions expressed in articles published in the Indonesian Journal of Innovative Teaching and Learning (IJITL) are solely those of the respective author(s). They do not necessarily reflect the views of IJITL, the Editorial Board, or the publisher. IJITL and its publisher accept no responsibility for any errors, inaccuracies, or consequences arising from the use of information contained in the published articles. The authors bear full responsibility for the content of their work, including the accuracy of data, citations, and ethical compliance.

7. ENFORCEMENT OF COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING
Although articles published in IJITL are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) and authors retain copyright, IJITL is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of authors. The journal will:

  • Investigate claims of copyright infringement, plagiarism, unauthorized reuse, or other violations.
  • Take corrective actions when necessary, such as issuing corrections, retractions, or takedown requests.
  • Act in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and IJITL’s Publication Ethics and Malpractice Policy in resolving copyright disputes.
