JOURNAL HISTORY

Indonesian Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (IJRIS) was established to foster academic excellence, Islamic education, multidisciplinary Islamic studies, and contemporary societal research. Published by Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA), IJRIS has continually evolved to meet international publishing standards, ethical frameworks, and indexing requirements. Below is the historical progression and key operational milestones of IJRIS since its inception:

July 2024: The first issue of Indonesian Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (IJRIS) was officially published (Volume 1, Issue 1, July 2024).

September 13, 2024: Indonesian Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (IJRIS) was officially assigned the Online ISSN (e-ISSN): 3063-4555 by ISSN National Centre for Indonesia, based on Decree No. 30634555/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/09/2024.

October 28, 2024: Indonesian Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (IJRIS) was officially assigned the Print ISSN (p-ISSN): 3063-9573 by ISSN National Centre for Indonesia, based on Decree No. 30639573/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/10/2024.

DOI Activated: Activation of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Prefix 10.64420/ijris by Crossref under Publisher Member ID:  53855, starting from Volume 1, Issue 2 (2024).

December 2025: Formalization of a Cooperation Agreement between Academia Edu Cendekia Indonesia (AEDUCIA) and the Institute for Research and Community Service / Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM), Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, regarding the joint management and scientific article publishing for Indonesian Journal of Research in Islamic Studies (IJRIS).

Publication Frequency Change: The publication frequency of IJRIS was officially changed to Triannually (March, July, and November) starting from Volume 3 (2025).
